13.11.24: Level 1; review; practice in the cases; 3rd declension nouns [2]

Match the English and Latin sentences; focus on the nouns in bold since they are all 3rd declension:

[A] mīles, mīlitis [3/m]: soldier

Nominative: I am a soldier.

Genitive: Here is the helmet of the Roman soldier.

Dative: He gives the shield to the soldier.

Accusative: The commander sees the soldier.

Ablative: I’m not afraid, for I am with the soldier.
