We're sometimes "deafened" by Cicero, Caesar, Catullus and the other grand masters of Latin Literature but we don't hear the "voices" of the ordinary Romans. While we read about gladiatorial fights and victory palms, ordinary citizens drew them on walls in Pompeii 2000 years ago. The third picture shows the victory palm.
