13.04.24: 4th declension nouns; vocabulary [6]

The endings -sus and -tus can sometimes mark a fourth declension noun. These nouns are derived from verbs.

spīro, spīrāre [1]: breath > spīritus: breath; spirit

sentiō, sentīre [4]: feel > sēnsus: feeling; sense; sensation
